The Best Bath…Isn’t One at All

Introducing the Model 2500 Select – Bathless Dissolution Tester!

The patented bathless technology eliminates the water bath and all associated maintenance while heater jackets raise media temperature from ambient to 37°C in less than 15 minutes. Wireless in-shaft temperature sensors continuously monitor and display the in-vessel temperature for each vessel.  A brilliant touch screen and unparalleled command of the instrument with electronic tracking of serialized stirring elements, qualification status and due dates and extensive reporting and method storage capabilities make this a robust and reliable system.

  • PATENTED BATHLESS TECHNOLOGY

Distek, Inc. Places CE and ETL Mark on the sensIR 3200 Bathless Disintegrator

North Brunswick, NJ – Distek, Inc., an industry leader in pharmaceutical laboratory testing instruments, accessories and validation services, is pleased to announce ETL certification of the sensIR 3200 “Bathless” Disintegrator for both the United States and Canada. In conjunction with the ETL mark, the instrument will also begin shipping with a CE mark. These regulations ensure that the product will meet health, safety, and environmental requirements.

The ETL mark indicates that the product has been tested and met the requirements of a widely recognized U.S. product safety standard for distribution throughout the U.S and Canada.

“Distek is excited to provide acceptance of these regulatory standards on the sensIR 3200 disintegration tester,” says Jeff Brinker, President, Distek, Inc. “It is a testament to Distek’s focus on meeting domestic and international standards for safety and environmental considerations.”

Distek’s sensIR 3200 “Bathless” Disintegrator with Auto Endpoint Detection is Now Available

North Brunswick, NJ – Distek, Inc., an industry leader in pharmaceutical laboratory testing instruments, accessories and validation services, is pleased to announce the availability of auto detection on the sensIR 3200 “Bathless” Disintegrator.

sensIR 3200The sensIR 3200 utilizes “Patent Pending” Near Infrared to monitor and determine the disintegration endpoint for solid dosages. This state-of-the-art technology provides endpoint detection without the need of a modified fluted disk, therefore eliminating the accelerated disintegration and disparity the use of a fluted disk can cause with monographs not requiring disks.

“Unattended endpoint detection saves time and increases throughput” says Jeff Seely, Vice President of Sales & Business Development. “The release of the sensIR 3200 is another example of Distek’s innovation and leadership in the pharmaceutical testing market space. The use of IR to detect the presence of the tablet is a leap forward in disintegration testing providing reliable results and compliance with all monographs.”
