From the Director of Standards Quality Assurance – United States Pharmacopeia (USP)… Recent evaluation of USP Prednisone Tablets Reference Standard, Catalog #1559505, Lot R001B0 by USP scientific staff has determined that Lot R001B0 is no longer suitable for its intended USP compendial use. It has been assigned a new valid use date of July 6, 2015.
Please view the revised Certificate for Lot R001B0 within USP’s online store. USP regrets issuing this notice after the valid use date has passed; please be assured that USP makes every effort not to do so.
A new lot is expected to be available no later than July 31, 2015.
